The Joy of Christmas Book Tag

Thanks so much to Ruby Rae Reads for tagging me! You can find the original post over @ Novels & Nonsense.
I haven't done a book tag in a while, and since it's almost Christmas, I especially wanted to do a Christmas post. So here we are!

1) ANTICIPATION: THE CHRISTMAS EXCITEMENT IS REAL, WHAT BOOK RELEASE(S) ARE YOU MOST ANTICIPATING?

Batman: Nightwalker by Marie Lu, The Belles by Dhonielle Clayton, Gunslinger Girl by Lyndsay Ely, Everless by Sara Holland, Daughter of the Siren Queen by Tricia Levenseller......to name a few...

2) CHRISTMAS SONGS & CAROLS: WHAT BOOK OR AUTHOR CAN YOU NOT HELP BUT SING ITS PRAISES?

Leigh Bardugo! Brigid Kemmerer! Cecelia Ahern! They're amazing authors and I will sing it to my grave.

3) GINGERBREAD HOUSES: WHAT BOOK OR SERIES HAS WONDERFUL WORLD BUILDING?

The Grishaverse world has incredible world building. Another sign of Leigh's amazingness.

4) A CHRISTMAS CAROL: FAVORITE CLASSIC OR ONE THAT YOU WANT TO READ?

I luuuuv classics. My favourite is probably The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, but I adore War and Peace too.

5) CHRISTMAS SWEETS: WHAT BOOK WOULD YOU LOVE TO RECEIVE FOR CHRISTMAS?

HA. So many. Wonder Woman Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo, Warcross by Marie Lu, Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco, Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller...... Again, just to name a few.

6) CANDLES IN THE WINDOW: WHAT BOOK GIVES YOU THAT WARM FUZZY FEELING?

The Lunar Chronicles series by Marissa Meyer. To be honest, that series makes me feel everything, but fuzzines is high on the list.

7) CHRISTMAS TREES & DECORATIONS: WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE BOOK COVERS?

The Splintered trilogy by A.G. Howard has stunning covers, so does the Flawed duology by Cecelia Ahern, the Stalking Jack the Ripper series by Kerri Manisclaco, Keeper by Kim Chance, and ah so many more. Beautiful covers are wonderful things.

8) CHRISTMAS JOY: WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE THINGS ABOUT CHRISTMAS AND/OR SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE CHRISTMAS MEMORIES?

Hmm, I can't think of any memories per se, but of course there are some things I love about Christmas.

I love when we go to church in the morning - the atmosphere, the vibe, and of course the reason we celebrate Christmas in the first place: Jesus Christ.
I also love spending time with family, all the jokes and nonsense we get up to, and eating Christmas lunch or dinner together and handing out presents afterwards. We always have such a great time.
